Brenda Ramsdale, Clinic Manager
Brenda started her career in the medical field in 1981with a Medical Transcription certificate from SAIT and in 1983, a Unit Clerk certificate from the Calgary General Hospital.
In 1985, while working as a unit clerk in the NICU at the Calgary General Hospital, Brenda was approached by Dr. Heidi Schroter and Dr. Thiru Govender with an offer to manage their new clinic, the Children’s Health Clinic. Over the next 40 years Brenda has steered what was a small clinic of just 2 pediatricians to a highly-regarded (and growing) group of 7 physicians at Safari Pediatrics. From a world where everything was recorded on paper and delivered through the mail, through fax machines and photocopiers, to today’s world of AI and the paperless office, Benda has been through it all.
Brenda is the commander in chief of the clinic. It is to her that the team turns for guidance and advice in the day to day management of the operation and the clinic is grateful for her extraordinary dedication and hard work.
Brenda is excited to see Safari Pediatrics expand in size and scope and continue to provide quality pediatric care to a large and diverse patient population.
Brenda’s spare time is spent with her grandson and travelling to tropical locations with her husband every chance she can get.
